Scalzi wanted birds, and I had an unused bird pick in my photobuket.

I used to have a family of them nesting in an abandoned house near mine on Monponsett Lake. You'd see mom and dad swimming with 5 of them... then, like a week later, you'd only see 4 babies... sad.

We had ducks, too... but whenever I noticed them missing, the Hong Kong Kitchen would always have a Fresh Duck special.

Good morning, thanks for checking out my journal. I like your picture of the geese. No, I didn't climb a tree to get a shot of the birds.LOL. Just using my zoom from the front porch. I am sure you cook better than me because I seldom do any more cooking. My children have all left the nest. I would love to eat one of your meals. You have a nice day now! Helen

Are you deliberately quoting Veruca Salt?  There's a certain amount of congruence to that. - Karen

Mav... my daughter has a little trouble figuring out the geese/goose thing in plural, and I thought it was a cute title.
